The Accountant's Association 72nd Annual Membership Meeting will be held October 19-21, 2011, at The Victory Electric Cooperative Association, Inc. offices, 3230 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, KS.

Hotel Information: A block of rooms was reserved at $89.99 per night plus tax at the Best Western Country Inn & Suites, located at 506 N 14th (Corner of Wyatt Earp & 14th). This rate includes a hot breakfast served from 6:00 – 9:30 AM. Room reservations had to be made by Wednesday, October 5, 2011, to receive this rate. Golf Outing: The traditional golf scramble will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Mariah Hills golf course, located at 1800 Matt Down Lane. Registration begins at 11:30 AM, with a tee time of noon. The golf fee is $29 for 18 holes and ½ a cart. Fees will be paid the day we play.October 7 was the deadline to contact Judy Barten if you plan to join us so that tee times can be made firm, or if you have any questions about the golf event. Thursday Evening Entertainment: Thursday night’s entertainment will be at the Boothill Museum and Front Street where members will enjoy dinner and an Old West Variety Show. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM with the variety show to follow. Cost for the dinner and variety show is $26 per person (includes tax), and includes free admission to the museum. Members are welcome to tour the museum prior to dinner or may return on Friday after the meeting adjourns. All reservations for the dinner and show were due by October 10th. (In order to receive this group rate, we cannot pay individually. Therefore, you can give your money to Jennifer Gaut or make your check payable to Victory Electric, and we will pay Boothill once they bill us.) After the show, members, on their own, may also enjoy a trip to the new Boothill Casino and Resort. The Best Western Country Inn & Suites has a shuttle service to the casino if they do not wish to drive their own vehicles.
