Support Pending Energy Legislation S. Sub. for HB 2412
The Kansas Legislature is considering energy bills that will have an effect on your energy future. Regardless of where you live in the state or from whom you receive your electric supply, the legislation being considered will impact baseload energy supply, that portion of your electric supply that is relied upon 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The legislation arises out of the denial by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment of an air permit for the expansion of a generating station of Sunflower Electric Power Corporation, a Kansas electric cooperative, in Holcomb. Senate Sub. for HB 2412 would enact the Economic Stimulus Act of 2008. Bill Update Bill Brief S. Sub. for HB 2412 Legislators Voting No
